Stretch, Sip, Smile: Puppy Yoga Meets Coconut Water in Ultimate Wellness Craze

Puppy Yoga Meets Coconut Water in Brisbane

Two of the latest lifestyle trends to sweep the nation are joining forces to offer the ultimate weekend wake-up for health-conscious animal-loving Australians.

Australia’s newest coconut water, Sip Coco, is partnering with Yoga Paws, to help participants stay hydrated naturally as they take part in weekly puppy yoga sessions with the nation’s largest puppy yoga organisation.

Since launching puppy yoga in Brisbane a year ago (September 2024), Yoga Paws has rapidly expanded to offer sessions in Sydney, Perth, the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast, with Adelaide added in July.

Just as it sounds, puppy yoga is an hour-long session combining yoga with puppy interactions, allowing participants the chance to relax and stretch with yoga poses while also spending time cuddling and playing with puppies to help socialise them. The result is the first nationwide puppy socialisation program in conjunction with breeder and rescue partners, and an elevated, more connected wellness experience for Australians.

Over six weeks, Yoga Paws is partnering with Sip Coco – a trendy new no-fuss coconut water – to provide participants at classes around the country with a natural hydration hit as part of their puppy yoga experience.

The two budding Queensland businesses were both created to fill a gap in the market and are banding together to support each other as they grow their presence around the country.

“As the only coconut water in a 330ml can, offered in a range of trendy colours, Sip Coco offers a new, natural beverage option that looks and tastes good. It’s a refreshing, naturally hydrating no-fuss drink that refuels your body with natural electrolytes like potassium, sodium, and magnesium, and is perfect for post-yoga sips. Australians are barking mad about puppy yoga and going ‘coconuts’ for Sip Coco so it’s a match made in heaven,” said Sip Coco CEO Chris Seaton.

Sip Coco’s flagship coconut is 100% pure coconut water containing five natural electrolytes – sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium and phosphorus – and no added sugar, with additional passionfruit, ginger, watermelon, lychee and pineapple flavours.

Yoga Paws Co-Founder Harry McCann said it was a no-brainer to partner with fellow Brisbane business Sip Coco to work together as they build lifestyle brands aimed at making Australians happier and healthier.

“Yoga Paws started as a small idea in Brisbane and it has been incredible to see it grow into something people across the country genuinely love. Puppy yoga works because it’s simple – it brings joy. People walk in stressed and leave smiling, and the puppies gain so much from it too,” Harry said.

“We’re proud to be building something that supports local breeders and rescuers while giving puppies the structured socialisation we desperately need in Australia.

“Our rapid expansion into capital cities around Australia, with Adelaide the latest to try downward dog with dogs, shows that Australians are craving experiences that are both playful and meaningful – and that’s exactly what Yoga Paws delivers.”

As part of the collaboration, Sip Coco will be offered at Yoga Paws classes around the country during August and September, including:

  • Sun August 3: The Centre of Dance Bulimba (Brisbane)
  • Sun August 10: Jingster Yoga (Sunshine Coast)
  • Sat August 16: House of Motion (Gold Coast)
