Brisbane | March 27, 2025 — Following successful runs in the US, the UK, France and Melbourne, Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences in partnership with Fever and IMG, has announced that Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience will open in Brisbane this coming winter.
For the first time in the Sunshine State, this breathtaking light trail will open on June 20, 2025 for Harry Potter fans of all ages to enjoy in the awe-inspiring woods of Sirromet Winery in Mount Cotton. Tickets will be available for purchase starting April 3, 2025 but fans who sign up for the waitlist today will unlock exclusive access to secure pre-sale tickets.
Inspired by the iconic Forbidden Forest and featuring creatures from the Harry Potter™ and Fantastic Beasts™ series, mesmerising lights will transform the landscape into a magical outdoor trail. Visitors will discover some of their favourite moments from the Forbidden Forest, encounter mystical creatures such as Hippogriffs, unicorns, and Nifflers, and practice casting their very own spells.
Making their Australian debut in the Brisbane iteration will be a selection of exciting new elements and features including a chronologically coordinated trail with characters and scenes appearing in the same order as they do in the Harry Potter™ and Fantastic Beasts™ series’; and new character additions such as Harry Potter, Draco Malfoy, and the beloved ‘Fang’.
Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience is for the whole family and promises a wonderful time for fans of all ages, giving them the opportunity to experience the magic of the Harry Potter films in a whole new way. Visitors will also find a themed village at the end of the trail where they can enjoy delicious food and drink, as well as a gift shop with merchandise from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts movies. The outdoor experience was created by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences in partnership with leading entertainment discovery platform Fever, and award-winning theatrical designers Thinkwell and Unify.
