DINO WORLD COMES TO DFO JINDALEE FOR SCHOOL HOLIDAY FUN

DINO WORLD COMES TO DFO JINDALEE

DFO Jindalee will transform into a Dino World from Friday 20 June, creating a free, immersive dinosaur experience for customers to celebrate the release of Jurassic World: Rebirth at Reading Cinemas and to enjoy during the July school holidays.

Six, dinosaur-themed displays featuring 12 different dinosaurs will be showcased throughout the centre. They will be located in front of Reading Cinemas and outside stores including Nike, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Converse and Amazon’s Family Fresh Market & Butcher. Featuring static dinosaurs of all sizes, the displays will include Velociraptors, a Nanotyrannus, a Tyrannosaurus Rex, a Dromaeosaurus, a Dilophosaurus and more, where customers can take selfies while they shop.

The displays will also give five families of four the chance to win a family pass to an exclusive VIP Viewing of Jurassic World: Rebirth on Sunday 20 July, thanks to Reading Cinemas, when they participate in the DFO Jindalee Hunt-o-sauros Dino Tracker Competition.

To enter, kids and adults alike are invited to embark on a prehistoric adventure by grabbing a Dino Tracker form from their favourite store. When they hunt down all five dinosaurs located throughout DFO Jindalee and mark their hiding spots on the Dino Tracker form, they place it in the fossil barrel near Reading Cinemas for their chance to win this roar-some VIP prize.

In addition, the centre will host free, Craft-a-saurus Kids Craft Workshops. From 10am to 1pm, Wednesday July 2 to Sunday July 6, kids will discover Crate-o-Saurus, when they decorate their very own dino crate to carry their prehistoric pals. From 10am to 1pm Wednesday 9 July to Sunday 13 July, it’s a world of colour with Paint-o-saurus, where kids will paint their very own dinosaur masterpiece to take home. No bookings are required for these free craft activities.

DFO Jindalee Marketing Director Donna O’Neill said the VIP experiences with Reading Cinemas would be drawn on Monday 14 July. “This gives people just over three weeks to visit the centre, experience the Dino World dinosaur immersion and enter the competition to see Jurassic World: Rebirth as a VIP,” she said.

“We are thrilled to present this Dino World immersion experience at DFO Jindalee for the July school holidays, timed to coincide with the 3 July release of the latest Jurassic World film. Our free craft activities and dinosaur displays will entertain the kids, while parents can enjoy shopping at international and national brands for up to 70% off the regular retail prices.

“The centre also offers a great variety of dining experiences, with 10 cafes and restaurants on site, plus the latest movies on offer at Reading Cinemas.”

DFO Jindalee is open daily from 10am to 6pm, with Reading Cinemas and eateries open until late. For details visit dfojindalee.com.au
