How to Face Change

Change is good. You go first.

A mashup between Michael Bungay Stanier x Leanne Hughes x You

Humans and organisations love the status quo. They resist change.

It’s called homeostasis which means when you push into something to try and make it different, it often pushes back hard. And always pushes back annoyingly.

That’s why behaviour change is tricky, and organisational change is tricker still.

But it doesn’t have to be.

New approaches to change at an individual and organisational level are emerging, and we’ll dive into them in this workshop.

This will be a great experience

It will be a new take on how to face change.

First, know that it’s going to be dynamic, it’s going to be interactive, and it’s going to be a delightfully engaging session.

That’s because your two hosts are Leanne Hughes and Michael Bungay Stanier, fabulous facilitators, outstanding teachers, confident self-promoters, and generally fun people.

They will dig into the challenges of change and share some insights and tools that might make all the difference.

We can’t give too much away – how can you do a workshop on change when you know what’s going to happen?

 – but trust that …

Michael will share his best thinking from his so-new-it’s-not-even-public-yet project, including a brand new model for how to unlock change at both individual and organisational levels.

Leanne will deep dive into powerful processes to move groups to be bold, try new things, and make a difference (with a sprinkling of constructive delusion).

And Leanne and Michael will build an experience with you that will help you unlock some of the best of who you are.

It’s a 2-hour workshop + a 2-hour after party (on a rooftop bar)

After a couple of hours together in a more formal workshop setting, you’ll be invited to join Leanne and Michael in a more informal setting (AKA the cool after-party) for good conversation and vittles.
